Registration for the annual Walk For Alzheimers is now underway.
The event takes place June 15 at the Sorting Gap Marina in Fort Frances.
It to raise both awareness and funds for the Alzheimer Society for Kenora-Rainy River Districts.
Client Services Coordinator Mary O’Connor says they will have two different routes to take.
“For the ones who really want to walk, I have somebody who will be leading them and they will go from the Sorting Gap down to the Point. And the ones that are more leisurely stroller kind of walker like myself we will be walking to the hospital and back.
