Another strong day for the Fort Frances Muskies track and field team at the NWOSSA championships in Thunder Bay.
As a team, Muskies the finished third best in the senior division, fifth in the midget division and seven in the juniors.
Ayiana Gagne finished second in the midget girls 800 run and third in the 15-hundred metre event.
Grace Petsnick was second in the senior girls high jump and third in the triple jump.

Several relay teams also medaled yesterday.
The girls 4 by 400 relay team with Ayiana Gagne, Cassie Krawchuk, Grace Petsnick and Kenna Spuzak captured gold in their event.
The midget girls 4 by 100 relay team finished second.
The 4 by 100 junior team also finishing second in their race.
The senior boys 4 by 100 team finished third.
The boys 4 by 400 open relay team ended their day with a third place finish.
Fort Frances Muskies boys soccer team will be making the trip to the all-provincial championship for a ninth straight year.
Connor Nelson and Brett Allan scored as the Muskies edged Dryden 2-1 for the NorWOSSA crown yesterday in Dryden.
The OFSAA championship takes place next week in North Bay.
On the girl’s side, the Muskies fell 2-1 to Kenora’s Beaver Brae Broncos in their final.
