Barwick is being identified as a potential site for a new LCBO Convenience Outlet, formerly referred to as Agency Stores.
It’s one of 200 sites across the province the LCBO hopes to have in place within the next year.
Barwick is one of ten proposed for northwestern Ontario.
The LCBO’s now accepting applications from interested businesses.
Meantime, the province also intends to allow more grocery stores to sell beer, wine and cider.
It’s eying sales in 87 stores on top of the more 350 now in place.
