A safe end to a search for a missing canoeist in Quetico Provincial Park.
OPP were called late Saturday afternoon about a man who failed to meet up with another at a scheduled rendezvous point and was two days overdue.
A search was initiated involving an OPP helicopter with members of the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Ontario Parks assisting.
The next morning the man showed up, meeting his canoeing partner at the planned rendezvous.
He was found in good health and planned to end his trip through the park yesterday.
