Yesterday, culvert replacement near Rush Bay Road and Red Pine Ridge Road caused motorists to wait as long as four hours.
“The line-up is nine kilometres long,” said one motorist. “By the time everything catches up, at least the road is open, but you have to stop at the construction, it’s too rough.”
Another said some motorists on the west side of the construction were turning around and heading back to Winnipeg.
Work on the area is question west of Kenora is expected to wrap up tomorrow.
Crews are on-site from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
