Some new correctional officers for jails in northwestern Ontario.
The nine new officers are among those who completed an eight-week training program aimed at training northern recruits at northern facilities.
The new officers will now work at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre as well as jails in Thunder Bay, Kenora, and Fort Frances.
