Time magazine is taking a stand against the mass shootings in the United States.
The cover of the latest edition has the word ENOUGH splashed across the middle with the names of all the U.S. cities which have been affected in the background.
The cover identifies 253 cities where shootings have killed four or more victims.
It’s prefaced by the statement, ‘a year of gun violence in America so far.’
In a website post from Time’s Editor-in-Chief and Chief Executive Officer Edward Felsenthal explaining the reasoning behind the cover writes, “We do have a choice as a society. Not a perfect choice. Or a guaranteed solution. But doing nothing in the face of repeated mass murder in our society is indefensible.”
Time used the same ENOUGH on a March 2018 cover featuring survivors from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida the month before.
