Voyageurs National Park is getting ready for the fall and wintertime.
It’s announced it will reduce hours at its visitors’ centers beginning September 23.
The Kabetogama Lake and Ash River Visitor Centers will be closed for the season
The Rainy Lake Visitor Center will stay open seven days a week under September 29 before reducing its hours through to May.
The Rainy Lake Visitor Center will have the following late fall and winter hours:
September 30 through October 2, 2019: Closed
October 3 through October 20, 2019: Open Thursdays through Sundays, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
October 21, 2019 through November 29, 2019: Closed
November 30, 2019 through December 29, 2019: Open Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
December 30, 2019 through January 1, 2020: Closed
January 2, 2020 through mid-May, 2020: Open Thursdays through Sundays, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
