The Ontario government isn’t making any immediate decision to ban certain vaping products in the province.
Some US states have done so in response to deaths and illnesses, health official there are linking to vaping.
Ontario’s Health Minister Christine Elliott wants more data before following their lead.
She’s now asking hospitals to provide the Chief Medical Officer of Health with information on any patients they’ve treated with vaping-related severe pulmonary disease.
