Koochiching County is proposing a 3 per cent increase to its 2020 tax levy.
That represents the collection of about $4.6 million more in tax dollars than this year and a nearly 1.6 per cent increase to the tax rates.
Formal approval of the budget figures won’t happen until after a public meeting in early December.
