The Rainy River District School Board has issued an advisory to parents about the back-to-work campaign being initiated by some education workers.
Members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees are using the campaign to back contract demands.
They’re also in a legal strike position.
In a post to Facebook, the Board indicates there will be some minor effects that will vary by school.
This will include a discontinuing of the hot lunch programs and school fundraising and areas like hallways, offices and gymnasiums not being cleaned.
The Board says schools will remain open and every effort will be made to lessen the impact on students and families.
