Be aware of pills that look like oxycodone. Treaty Three Police Service says they actually might be Fentanyl.
The warning stems from the seizure of pills on the Shoal Lake #39 First Nation near Kenora in August.
Some of the pills were thought to be Percocet due to their size, shape and markings but after testing by
Health Canada they turned out to be Fentanyl.
The drug is said to be potentially deadly and the public is asked to be aware that imitation drugs are
being sold in the area and can cause health risks if consumed.
Anyone who might have knowledge about the illegal sale of these drugs is asked to contact the Treaty Three Police or Crime Stoppers.
