Of the seven schools in the Rainy River district participating in either schoolwide or classroom votes, six like best the platform of NDP candidate Yuk-Sem Won. Rainy River High School students favoured her by just a single vote ahead of Conservative candidate Linda Rydholm.
Riverview School in Rainy River gave the nod to Green Party candidate Amanda Moddejonge.
The program is offered each federal, provincial and municipal election to grade 5 to 12 classes to educate them about the election process.
